EOS for Windows XP SP2, Windows 2000 Server and Professional on July 13, 2010 Posted: 13 Jul 2010 12:45 PM PDT As announced in 2008, support for Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and Windows 2000 Server and Professional ended on July 13, 2010. Additionally, support for Windows Vista Release to Manufacturing (RTM) version, without any service packs, ended on April 13, 2010. Microsoft will not release new updates, including security updates, for these products. Migration to Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 or installing the most current service pack is highly recommended. Visit windows.microsoft.com/eos for server and client resources and options. |
